Founded in 2011, Amazon Frontlines works alongside Indigenous federations CONAIE and CONFENIAE in Ecuador, including through its 2023 'Allpamanta' (Territory is Life) land-titling initiative, to help Amazonian nations secure legal title to ancestral lands. In a landmark November 2023 ruling, Ecuador's Provincial Court of Sucumbios ordered the titling of 42,360 hectares of ancestral territory to the Siekopai Nation, a decision the government has so far failed to fully implement.
