Based in Tavernier in the Florida Keys, Coral Restoration Foundation grows staghorn, elkhorn, and other native corals on offshore Coral Tree nurseries and outplants them onto degraded reef sites in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Since 2007 it has returned more than 215,000 corals to the wild, engaging divers and volunteers in hands-on restoration.
