GivePower Solar Water Farms

GivePower deploys containerized, solar-powered desalination systems called Solar Water Farms, starting with the fishing community of Kiunga on Kenya's coast in 2018-2019. The Kiunga plant produces about 75,000 liters of fresh drinking water every day from brackish ocean water. GivePower has since expanded the model to other sites and reports over 2.7 million people impacted across its water and solar programs.
