Gravity Water, a US-founded nonprofit registered as an INGO in Vietnam since 2017, installs rainwater harvesting and treatment systems that run entirely on gravity, requiring no electricity. It has equipped 131 schools in Hoa Binh province, and in early 2025 installed 60 new systems across schools and household clusters in Dien Bien province, bringing safe water to roughly 20,774 people including more than 18,000 children. The organization pairs infrastructure with student water-steward education programs.
