In The Same Boat — Sailing Volunteers Cleaning Norway's Coast

In The Same Boat sends crews of young international volunteers by sailboat to remote, heavily polluted stretches of the Norwegian coast to remove marine litter, much of it from fisheries. Since 2017 the organization has cleaned beaches along more than 20,000 kilometers of coastline around the North Sea. Thousands of volunteers are on the waiting list to join its expeditions.
