Las Na Zawsze — Forests That Will Never Be Cut

Fundacja Las Na Zawsze ('Forest Forever') acquires land across Poland and plants diverse native forests under two rules: they will never be cut for timber, and they are left to grow wild as refuges for nature. Plantings use only up to 2,000 seedlings per hectare — far less densely than commercial forestry — to let natural processes take over. Its long-term vision is a 'Connected Polish Wilderness' of at least 2,000 hectares.
