Solar Power for Off-Grid Navajo and Hopi Homes

Native Renewables is an Indigenous-led nonprofit founded in 2015 that installs off-grid solar photovoltaic and battery systems for Diné (Navajo) and Hopi families in the southwestern United States, where thousands of homes still lack grid electricity. Through its Hozho Homes Program it also trains Navajo and Hopi technicians to install and maintain the systems, building local clean-energy workforce capacity. The organization has donated dozens of systems and is scaling toward a goal of 100 installations a year.
