Snow Leopard Trust

The Seattle-based Snow Leopard Trust works with herding communities in Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, and India to protect snow leopards and their high-mountain habitat. Its programs pair livestock insurance, predator-proof corrals, and the Snow Leopard Enterprises handicraft income scheme with the longest-running snow leopard field study in the world. It engages 159 partner communities, and Snow Leopard Enterprises works with more than 400 women across 40 communities in four countries.
