Solutions for Our Climate

Established in Seoul in 2016, SFOC combines policy research, litigation, community organizing, and strategic communications to push governments and corporations toward evidence-based climate action. It helped campaign for South Korea's commitment to end overseas coal finance, won a greenwashing case against the country's largest steel company, and helped secure roughly $300 million in government funding for green steel technology. In April 2026 it filed OECD complaints against three major Korean public financial institutions over fossil fuel financing.
