Solar Power for Nepal's Hospitals, Clinics, and Schools

SunFarmer, founded in 2012, designs and finances solar energy systems for public institutions in Nepal through a rent-to-own model, letting hospitals and schools pay down systems over time instead of relying on diesel generators or enduring outages. The organization has installed solar at more than 200 hospitals, schools, businesses, and farms across 10 districts of Nepal, and has deployed emergency solar power for earthquake relief efforts.
