Trash Hero World

Trash Hero started as a weekly beach cleanup on Koh Lipe, Thailand in 2013 and grew into a network of volunteer chapters across Southeast Asia and beyond, coordinated by Swiss-registered Trash Hero World. Chapters run free weekly cleanups alongside kids' education programs and a bottle-refill network to reduce single-use plastic. By the end of 2025, 599,248 volunteers had joined 25,378 cleanups, removing over 2.7 million kg of garbage from beaches and cities.
